Echo is the other brand of multi tool that i've used and it was great, like my stihls but a bit less weight balanced and i thought the vibes were higher but the book says they're lower. Couldn't ever really switch manufactures now though as it's a lot of money to pay out to replace the lot.
Do a search, this has come up many times.
Buy what your local repairer sells, not what you find on the internet. Weeks waiting for parts is money down the drain. You want to be front of the queue when it breaks, so buy from him.
Be very careful buying second hand. Ask yourself why any pro would sell good gear for half it's value, unless it's either knackered, or stolen?
My dad has a farm and has used efco long reach(solo) for about ten years with no problems. Also has solo short reach (single sided) for 3 seasons again very pleased.
