Msds sheets

Hi all.

I am quoting for a job at the moment and the customer has asked for msds sheets of any chemicals used. Is this the same as coshh data sheets?

On there site i would be using  Petrol, 2-stroke oil, wd40, chainsaw oil, and clinik ace. Any ideas? I have not done this before so any pointers would be great.

You can print off data safety sheets for these off the relevent products websites and pass them on to your customer. Have to say though if they want a safety data sheet for WD40 and 2 stroke oil then you could be facing a very picky customer. I understand the request for the herbicide but the rest........ no

In England if you are using a professional pesticide supplier they will be BASIS qualified and able to supply the SDS at point of purchase or you go to maker's website and download....

This is normally the domain of a commercial style contract, if a small domestic job then as above...eyes wide open ;-)

For every spraying job it is good practice that you should ask the opinion for which chemical you should use to your BASIS qualified supplier....this could save you a load of trouble in the future.
