Phil Voice from landscape juice arrives at Marshalls HQ in Elland near Leeds to meet up with a few friends while on his epic Mowerthon journey travelling on a ride on lawn mower from Bergerac in France to John O Groats in Scotland to raise money for for the gardeners charity Perennial
Waiting to meet Phil was Dave Jessop the national operations manager for the Marshalls Register, Sara Whittington and myself armed with a video camera to capture the moment, Chris Frankland and a few others also stopped to have a chat too
It was great to meet Phil again and he was certainly upbeat and positive even though he is pushing himself on gruelling 12 hour days to get this epic quest of 1250 miles completed at a maximum speed of only 10 MPH
Well Done Phil, we are all very proud of you and what you have achieved :)
Perennial is the national charity for people who work in, have worked in or retired from horticulture, providing advice, help and support in times of need or difficulties
could any of you kind people donate to the good cause of this charity to help reach the target of £10,000
no matter how small your donation may be it will be most helpful
Thanks for coming out and seeing me Mick and for your support, as well as your generous assistance with expenses.

Shame you weren't able to join Martyn, Dave and I for a beer:)
I'm now just 36 miles from Gretna:)
Off to Peebles now (91 miles - done 9 already this morning).
Further donations from people on route too, which is good.
Clive and Amie, who own The Midland Hotel in Appelby, waived the cost of my meal and beer last night.
The hotel is right next a lovely quaint railway station on the Strettle to Carlisle line. Would highly recommend it if you are visiting this beautiful area.
Just been txting Phil. Ive booked him into the Crown Hotel in Peebles for tonight and going down to meet him and treat him to a slap up meal and a couple of beers. Will upload the photos later :-)
