Moving rootball (18-20) trees

After years of rolling, lifting with hooks, and bending wheelbarrows I think it's finally time to invest in a tree trolley. Are there any recommendations/ products to avoid? Where should I be looking to pick one up?

  • We bought one of these last year, and its made our lives SO much easier - we don't often move rootballs, but move trees in pots up to 160 lts with this.  It's very robust, Britsh engineering!

We did move some 14-16 rootballs with it last year (very easilly) so I guess guess it would handle 18-20's too.

  • Yes - we deliver trees to all sorts of gardens!   The wheels are both wider and larger diameter than you might guess from the picture (much bigger than your average sack truck).   We haven't come across a landscape thats defeated it yet!
