Moving Heathers

Can someone help me please?
I have a customer who has a bed of Heathers at the front with gaps where presumably Heathers have died and been removed, leaving bare soil. They would like to replant a couple of Heathers from the rear garden to fill the gaps at the front.

The Heathers in the front and the back are quite big, healthy and currently look great, so have been in for years. My customer inherited the garden when they moved in a couple of years ago.

I've heard Heathers don't take kindly to being dug up and re-planted. Can I move them?

Thanks in advance. Paul
