Moutfield M1 Rotavator

I have one of these lovely machines but it is out of action as I need new v belts. Have tried A24's and A25's but the first is too small and the second is too large.Any ideas? Also, the v belt jockey that increases the tension on my machine is a simple revolving cylinder subject to jamming. Does anyone have a machine for spare parts or a breakdown diagram showing the original design?

I have just bought one of these, and the belts on it are A24-1/2 which is 622mm Internal Li
Be interested to know if you found a parts/breakdown diagram (i have a user manual)

  • There's a really useful site I use to get belts and bearing from..... also makes interesting reading..... called "Bearingboys"

You can get just about any type of belt of any size you want.......... if you need a spare for your mower, they work out about half the price and they're top quality. If you good at adapting things, they do jockey tensioning wheels as well.
  • No, only have a user manual, just redesigned and manufactured a new jockey wheel which works fine, would be interested in a photo of your jockey wheel if possible as I think mine was not an original.

  • Thanks, have actually used them, redesigned the main Jockey wheel and works fine, so belts no longer an issue.
