Moss - reclassified ?

I read earlier that Moss has been reclassified as a Plant and thus any treatment of it now comes under COPR, ie you need a Pesticide license.

Missed that one. Must have been asleep ?

Out of the window goes a lot of the current moss treatment products ?

Does it it apply to hard surface and/or lawn moss treatments ?

I know that most of us would likely have a PA license anyway, but anyone else with further info   ?
