Met Office three-month forecast in 2012 was 'not helpful'

The Met Office has admitted issuing advice to government that was "not helpful" during last year's remarkable switch in weather patterns.

The Forecast, not made available to the Public, was used internally to assist in governmental planning (I wonder how this was used in relation to the Water Shortage/Hosepipe ban ?)

Obtained by the BBC under the Freedom Of Information Act, it makes interesting reading, especially when compared with the 'Rainfall by Month' graphics.
