can anyone help me here I'm starting to feel like I'm beating my head on a wall :(
I feel your pain, I re-jigged my business plan last year and found it very hard to get that type of stuff.
My wife was just finished her masters (And i was able to use her uni access to get into the keynote and other sites that are very good for marketing reports)
However I guess there just isn't the market for these companies to produce this info for gardening based services and I found it very hard to get.
Try talking to your local council - Business development team as they may be able to point you in the direction of where to get the material.
Might this HTA/APL market update help?

+1 to Landscape Juice, plus BALI and the other "officially recognised" trade associations. New kid on the block in this country Houzz (houzz.co.uk), a "social media" platform focussing on the "home and garden" sector has done some recent research on the domestic-only front too.
