m.r.i scans and shoulder injury

moan, moan

recent (from 16mths ago)
i have finally got details that i 'do have wear' & tear ' on end of collar-bone ,adjoining muscle to shoulder. possibly needing 'key-hole' surgery - whatever that may do.

so just a warning to all , and another list to my minor? injuries...

i am thinking about other options in the trade but business is doing ok and i have been running for 10 full seasons/years now :(

what are the options, and how have you changed due to injuries?

I have tried to stop doing some of the heavier work that our job entails such as fencing, barrowing lots of materials or days doing digging. This has helped my back no end. Also invested in Pellenc battery powered tools which are much lighter, quieter and have zero emissions at point of use. I feel much better for it.

  • I have a 'slap' ? Tear. Bursitis... yes Stuart I have also stayed away from landscaping jobs but extremely busy with hedges/ small tree surgery also. Safety first folks everytime.!
  • i use lackeys where i can to at least halve the load or do the unskilled shoveling, lugging the paving through, barrowing & digging - one thing i notice is that my helpers are slower than i am - maybe that's where i'm going wrong - there is a difference between being productive intelligently and beating yourself up to get higher productivity.

so my solution is mostly mitigation

now a letter for scan on my upper -C spine .... will it end ?? and not even an app for follow up on neck !
