As you can see from my little image next to my posts I have Love (by way of a heart) Your Garden as my tagline. I've used this on marketing material and our uniforms.

I know you only have my word for it but this was a way before the ITV programme of the same name. And I am sure I'm not the first to use it before this.

So my quandary is do I keep using it or bin it in the knowledge that everyone will now assume I'm trying to jump on the Titchmarsch train!

It's a shame as I quite like it and on the back of our tops it's quite striking and got a lot of comments even before the programme.

Just wondered what people thought, oh and if you thinks it's a cr@p strapline anyway feel free to ignore the thread!

    Keep it. 

    Demonstrate the difference between TV landscaping and what you offer.

    Enjoy the traffic the ITV programme sends to you.

    Exactly, you should get plenty interest. Are you VAT-registered? Being on companies house would prevent someone else coming in with the same name and trying to squeeze you out.

    It's not actually our name, just a line I started using and then held back on using more.

    Unless it's registered trade mark then it's no one's name.

    Why not check to see if it is a registered trade mark? http://www.ipo.gov.uk

    There is a lawn company that uses "Live your life, Love your garden" and another attempt to register Love your garden that was refused.

    Thanks Phil, must admit I hadn't thought to have a look.
