Liverwort on patio

I have a customer who has liverwort all over his block paving patio.  I've tried treating it with glyphosate several times with little success and it seems to be increasing by the week.

It's a very shady area so perfect for liverwort to thrive.

Any suggestions?

    Algoclear or Algoclear PRO - yes we sell it but its a good spray for liverwort - plus algae & moss on hard surfaces...very safe for pretty much all substrates. Have used it myself on liverwort last week..

    See it here: ALGOCLEAR

    As per ProGreen, glyphosate will not deal with moss, algae etc as they are part of a different plant kingdom ( is that correct way of expressing it ). Also, product label will tell you what it is effective on.

    Seen many clients complain that they've had patios etc sprayed and it makes no difference .. It won't
  • MMC-PRO works as well.

      I did not mention MMC Pro as it may no longer be classified for use in that situation now - from Makers;

      "MMC Pro is no longer permitted for the treatment of moss as moss has been reclassified as a plant and comes under the plant protection legislation"

      I've asked for clarification whether the 'worts' come under this recent change as we have used it often.

    its part of the ongoing consolidation of COPR into Plant Protection Products (Sustainable Use) Regs. 2012 and the BPR (Biocidal Products Regs.).

    It will also affect Vermicides like Carbendazim - all worm cast control claims will be chopped in 2017 we believe..

  • Am I bad for saying Sodium Hypochlorite? £15 for a 25 litre drum, diluted 50/50 with water. Seriously this is like a chemical power washer. Obviously take into consideration runoff and children and pets.
