Let's hear it for Etesia

It's getting rather scary now with just over one month until the off and the mowerthon rolls out onto open roads.

Most of the detail is taken care of but I'm staying flexible on the route. There's just a few things to sort, like where to stay and eat but I'm hardy so it might be underneath the mower:)

I know not all of you, especially hard landscapers, have a need for commercial mowers or likely to use Etesia (unless you buy a mower for your own garden?).

However our collective efforts are to raise money for Perennial and those people working in horticulture, and that also includes landscapers, in times of hardship.

I know we haven't reached our goals and milestones yet but I just want to mention Etesia and Fusion Media and let everyone know exactly what they are doing and how much of their resources they are committing to my mowerthon project.

I met with Les Malin and Chris Bassett at the Perennial HQ back in June. It was a long meeting so both of them gave up a fair amount of time. Both Chris and Les also came to the Hampton Court launch and again gave up a whole day each to be there.

Etesia have committed a new machine out of their factory in France, modified it to charge my iPad and iPhone as well as adding a heater so I don't get cold:) There's also a modification to the rear grass box so that I can store my belongings on route. This is all a cost to Etesia. Add to this fuel and personnel costs along the way too.

Etesia are having signs and boards printed and had vinyl's printed especially for the launch at Hampton Court too.

If all of the above  wasn't enough, Etesia are coming to my house for the launch and then supplying a support vehicle both in France and the UK side for the entire trip.

Now Etesia are hoping for some publicity from this and I'm very happy to see them benefit from such a valuable contribution but I hope you'd agree, for the £000's they've already committed, they deserve some recognition at the very least from LJN and its members.

Why not leave Les, Chris and Etesia a little message below? ;-0)

Very impressive support from Etesia Phil, not many companies would go the full hog as they have done, especially in the current financial climate. I take my hat off to them.

That's cool, Etesia. Very Well Done.

I had not realised just how much effort was going on behind the scenes for this event.

It justifies my investment in Etesia equipment and the support I receive from our Dealers and, indirectly, from Etesia personnel.

I also see they have 'sanctioned' their PR company - Fusion Media - to help in your great journey ;-)

I was fortunate enough to visit the LJN Open Day at Etesia a while ago to see the inside 'workings' and have great respect for their team from Les through to Neal who in some way have all helped us in the past.

  • "as well as adding a heater so I don't get cold"...same question that Cameron was asked this morning..."Are you a man or a mouse?"

Etesia are obviously giving you the same excellent support they give we customers.

Let's hope we site users do the same and make it worthwhile for Perennial

  • Hats off to Etesia, now how many other companies would do the same?!

Regardless of what choice of mower you use (if at all), please consider throwing your full support behind this venture.

  • Fantastic support from etesia i commend them on it, really well done.

However i am unable to praise Etesia from my recent dealings with them.

That aside very well done Etesia.

  • Great support from Etesia and thanks very much!

Also a thanks to Neal from Etesia for his help over LJN emails with my Etesia Pro46 in the past and helpful advice on the forums.

The support I have had has made me make a deliberate decision that Next season my dedicated mulching mower will be an Etesia.
