There are many members who are special friends of LJN.
Many of you have given up your time and expertise to help other people.
Help given ranges from financial advice through to the sharing of practical knowledge; other examples of help is just being there as an ear when others are in a time of need. Help can also be as simple as sharing a link to a resource.
I've created a gold member category so that we may highlight those members who go that little extra distance in their support of LJN.
I hope this doesn't embarrass Gary too much but he's our first gold member.
During his time on LJN Gary has helped an enormous amount of people. Not only that but he's helped me, which has ultimately helped LJN and its members.
Just some of Gary's unsung deeds:
- Attended the Creating Landscapes trade show
- Paid for mobile phone and iPad sim cards for me to use whilst travelling
- Contributed to accommodation and food whilst I've travelled on LJN business
- Attended the LJN AGM roadshow
- Attended the LJN launch of the mowerthon with Etesia and Perennial at Hampton Court.
- Through his Affinity Landscapes company Gary has agreed to help sponsor some of the costs of my upcoming mowerthon. Gary has also made a personal donation to the fund.
On top of all of the above (and that is just a snippet of his contribution) Gary is helping to arrange fundraising for the mowerthon with another group.
If Gary has helped you also, why not leave him a message?

He has been helpful with professional advice at times when I didn't have anyone to ask, so a big thumbs up. Proves you don't need to be a clique-leader or a suck-up to gain recognition and earn respect!
