back pack blower into a pile if the leaf litter is heavy if it is light somthing like a billy goat defentley not a hand held blower with a vacuum as you will be stopping every minute to empty it
I've a Stihl BR600 back pack blower, I've had it a while, never misses a beat, now there's a couple of us I'm going to treat myself to the latest one. 2 together will create waves of leaves
Mel, The only blower to buy is the Echo PB 8010 this outperforms anything available from other manufacturers,we bought one last Autumn as like you we have very large areas to clear, we used it on a large area with another operator using a Stihl BR 800 which is their most powerful blower, the Echo blew the leaves from one side of the area to the other, the Stihl only could get halfway across before the swath of leaves became too much for it,so traded it in for another Echo, these blowers are awesome, relatively light as carbon fibre is used - nice to use, ultra reliable, we have a 20 year old Echo PB 650 that still performs like new, don't hesitate BUY ONE !
