Lawnmower Horsepower Fraud

Are you getting the engine power that you thought you had purchased?Attached is some information concerning an American legal action against engine manufactures who are accused and in the case of Briggs & Stratton found guilty of misrepresenting the specification of their enginesAlthough most of us are expecting someone somewhere to attempt to pull the wool over our eyes I just did not expect this from original and major manufactures. With all the different conformity and quality regulations I was surprised this sort of misrepresentation could even be possible.It is so sad that at every juncture in life that you can not be assured of getting what you have paid forI wouldn't be surprised in death that my solid Oak coffin turned out to be laminated MDF !!(haven't made the reservation yet)So Happy New Year to everyone and don't forget to make a new Years resolution....
