Lawnflite pro

Hi can any1 tell me what I've done wrong ive just changed the roller bearings on the rear roller' I have assembled the roller and all working well, apart from the right hand side roller arm moves down and wobble, it doesn't look tight enough but it is,And scalps the lawn on the right side.Please some 1 help

    Hi I think it same as the Hondas and has a small key on shaft to hold it all in place and this has probably dropped out when dismantled
  • Hi Derek I think I know the key your talking about its a small metal key that fits into the top of shaft to hold the bearings in! Do you think that's whats making the roller uneven ?

    Hi, yes it stops the axle from rotating in the side mount there by holding it rigid across back 0f machine. Hope it works, Regards Derek

    I've put the key in the end of the shaft as
    You directed to and I'm over the
    Moon as it works perfectly,
    There is no more play in the swing arm,
    I can't thank you enough for the advice you gave me.

  • any one know of a parts supplier for the lawnflite roller gearbox my one is playing up slow to engage drive once driving is fine

  • just type into google "lawnflite spares"..... you'll need the 2 parts that make up the clutch..... last time I bought them they were about £50

  • anyone know what oil goes in to the gearboxes gearbox is rebuilt and refitted just need to add oil
