Lawn spreader

We're looking to buy some new pedestrian fertiliser spreaders.

We've used Agrifab, Earthway and various Chinese made clones like Handy etc they all tend to spread unevenally with more material being dispensed on the drive wheel side, which to counteract we end up spreading in a circular direction rather than up and down.

Appreciate you get what you pay for but can't justify £600 for ICL or similar, looked at Chaplin which appear ok also another American brand Anderson which don't appear to have a UK distributor ? Is available on Amazon at around £900!!

If anyone can comment on Chaplin or recommend another brand, be grateful, thanks.

It is a case of you get what you pay for. I used to use an earthway 2150 which was good, but it only lasted 3 seasons. Currently it looks to be around £300+vat. We've 3 SR2000 spreaders still going strong, accurate, adjustable and have lasted around 6 years so far. Agree expensive at £700+vat, but they have already proved value & longevity compared to the Earthway. We're lawn care, so very heavy usage with muliple operators - worst case scenario!

We have an SR2000 spreader. The cheaper ones fell apart after a season or 2. We've had the SR2000 for a few years and it has been utterly reliable and "cost per season" is less with it, even if it seems crazily expensive to start with.
