Lawn sand result...

Hi there,Have used general granular weed/feed lawn treatments in the past but used lawn sand on one of my contracts this year which has a bad moss/weed problem.Seems like lawn sand is out of fashion these days, but have to say the results are fantastic. Has given the grass a real boost and it has killed not only the moss but a lot of weeds too.Anyone else use lawn sand. If so do you get good results?

    I use it a lot during mid Spring - Excellent results and value for money. Does take a week longer to kill the moss than other treatment methods and of course depends upon dose applied. Just make sure you apply at least four days after a cut and when weather conditions are ideal. Only had two lawns that it didn't really make too much of a difference.

    I use lawn sand as it's so cheap, I tend to get quite good results, yes i takes longer and all the other precautions, but cost wise I like using it. I like to use it to see sometimes just how bad a moss problem there is as it makes it stand out.
