Lawn mowing commercial costs

Hi Guys. Can I pick your brains with regards to the cost of a mowing job. It's a commercial site and will take about 4 hours to mow per week. I'm thinking of mulching it most of the year to reduce waste removal. Can I ask how much you guys would charge as not fully sure how much to charge to maximise profits and not seem like I'm over charging the customer.

Too many variables!
What is it? Commercial is to vague
What are you cutting it with and what are they expecting?
Is it a multi national company or a local football club?

Don't forget to take into account your strimmer line costs when pricing .... haha ;-)
• Haha I'm really good at Strimming so don't use to much lol ;)
• There a large factory and want it to look nice so the 4 hours cutting would be tl plenty if time to get it nice. It's a case of mowing with a 21 inch mower and possibly when funds allow a rideon later on.

Look at it from a perspective other than time.
How big is it in acres/ M2?
I'm guessing it's about 1.5- 2 acres if you think four hours comfortably?
Also ask yourself if you really want to walk for 4 hours to cut some grass. Unless they want cut and collect stripes I think you will find the price you need to charge to make it worthwhile for you may be too high for them.
• Yes I'd say it is around 1.5-2 acres, it's a case of mowing it making it look nice, no stripes just a wheel Base mower, 2 men can then do it in around 2 hours each. It's a nice job to add to the books and I was just generally wondering what others would charge for a general mow that would take them that amount of time.

For me a four hour mow would be between £120-160 depending on location and site specifics.
You may find your up against people like me who can come in and be gone in less than an hour for £60 or less.
Leaving a good finish especially if weekly.
Just to add though I would not take the big mower out on hourly rates. That would be for a 21 inch machine
That was why is was wondering about size not time
• Four hours, i would be at about £120-150 a cut
• What price did you have in mind?
That might be easier for people to respond.
• I was thinking in the region of £130-£150 I kow some weeks will be alot easier than other weeks, I wanted to check that people were on same length or if I was under cutting myself.
