Good morning.

I have been mowing lawns for a number of years now but never got into the lawn treatment/ scarifying/ moss control side of things. I got scared off years ago when I saw another firm accidentally ruin a chaps lawn and ended up relaying it! However I do often get asked about scarifying and moss treatment. Could be a useful service to be able to provide.Anyone know of a good place to get training for this either Notts/ Lincs area or online.

    As regards training, if using a knapsack sprayer for the iron/ weedcontrol application, then you will need PA 1/6 qualification (Progreen offer this).

    As regards training on the rest of it, a good book and some common sense will take you a long, long way without paying for all manner of exotic courses etc...
