For the researching visitor there's a wealth of landscaping ideas, garden design ideas, lawn advice tips and advice about garden maintenance.

Just wondering if anyone has ever had this happen? What makes it worse it that they have been given an award for 'their design' and have been acknowledged on the awards website. The contractors facebook page does however list me, Ian Price of Ian Price Design, as the designer.Thoughts anyone? I've only discovered this 'error' and await the awards body's response.

  • 1. Did you provide drawings.
    2. Dd you place any copyright notices in them.
    3. Do you have the originals.
    4. Write to the contractor and the awarding body ( who was it, what was the award etc. ) demand that the web site be amended.
Take a screen shot of the Facebook page to prove your authorship of the design etc.

a shame as the contractor must now live up to the award and probably can't replicate the design quality in the future.
  • Cheers folks

Have had no contact from the awards organiser who class themselves as a governing body which is concerning. I do have the original drawings and screen shot of the Facebook page that I'm credited as the designer in. It may still be a simple admin error but one that the contractor is willing to amend as it makes him look good in the short term (as well as help to ruin his credibility longer term).
  • Update... Awards organisers have amended their error and apologised for the situation.
