Never heard of a private client wanting a bill of materials before, usually the items ate listed on the quote. However Excel should have a template which you can use else check out buildersbum website at http://s383096137.initial-website.co.uk/
A full BOM would normally be spat out of an integrated package or estimating system ? Are you looking to do take-offs ?
For small projects, normally you would extract it from your specification? For a good example, might be good to get a copy of "Heather's Standard/Model Specification for Garden Design" (as he desperately searches for his own copy :-( )/p>
Thanks Graeme and Gary,
I have looked at and used both and am just forming my own template on excel. Its an odd one Gary, I am loosely writing the spec and bill of quantities. Just need to get stuck in now and get it done. Thanks again
