I've got a Cooper peglar knapsack sprayer, but I also have a 5L metabi sprayer which I'm very pleased with, and spares seem readily available so their knapsack sprayer might be worth a look. Don't know how it compares price wise with cp.
Thanks Glen, I will have a look at Metabi 16L
Hi Neil,
I use solo 425 which I'm very pleased with .German make. Comfortable straps, spray and kill away to your hearts content.. iv had mine about 10 years and never had a problem with the piston pump system..you can get all the nozzles for it too....
Have a good weekend
Paul
Cheers Paul, I will see if I can find the Solo anywhere.
Hi Paul I bought the Solo, the 475 though. I have just assembled the handle & every time I crank it, it crunches. As if something is catching & having to be forced.
I'm just wondering if you encountered anything like this with your 425 & if so does it ease off. I don't think I can work with it knocking with every pump.
Cheers Neil
Hi Neil,
Yikes,Never had that problem. Send on a pic of the assembly and I'll do likewise of mine. What do you mean by crunching sound??. Can you easily pump with the handle or is it quiet stiff??
Paul
I'd check that handle set up. It sounds like maybe you have attached a bolt in the wrong position. I'll check properly in the morning
I don't know about the handle setup. But it turns out the plastic lever from the arm to the bottom of the diaphram has snapped. Whether it was me or not i'm not sure.
Replacement due tomorrow so I might give you a shout Paul. Cheers
Hi Neil,
Did you get that sorted out?
Hi Paul sorry for the late reply. I'm still waiting for the replacement from Amazon, It's coming direct from Germany this time I think. I will keep you informed. Cheers
