Kazz / Danarm Pro roller mower .

Hi I've just picked up a Kazz / Danarm Pro 53 roller high speed model ( 2017 ) from my local dealer today , they were selling them cheap so thought why not even though I don't have to many gardens for them. Anyway all seem too be well with it but the roller I think , do the two rollers move independently like a differential ? I thought they would do especially when turning, feels like I am having to shove it round when turning are is this normal ? The drive engages fine , I haven't used it on a garden just had a dabble with it when I got home  . They been stood for a year / or 18month so maybe just stiff .

Thanks Andrew

  • Hi Andrew, no the roller on the kaaz danarm clones don't have a split differential (if that's the right phrase) like the weibangs and hayters.

I've got an older 19" lawnflite version, fantastic mower, particularly with the high lift blade, but at this time of year I do find myself lifting the rear end round so as not to churn the ground up.

I've recently bought a weibang 56 for a customer and the split rear roller really does help.

Sorry if that's not what you wanted to hear

    • Thanks Glen shame it isn't a split roller much easier to manouevre .
