Hi Andrew, no the roller on the kaaz danarm clones don't have a split differential (if that's the right phrase) like the weibangs and hayters.
I've got an older 19" lawnflite version, fantastic mower, particularly with the high lift blade, but at this time of year I do find myself lifting the rear end round so as not to churn the ground up.
I've recently bought a weibang 56 for a customer and the split rear roller really does help.
