Would I buy another one, probably not just don't like the long handles but can't fault the machine.
They are spoken of very highly by my staff.
Wheeled or roller?
How do they differ from the other versions without the new gearbox, Nick?
Just wondering, as my Viking is in for repair with a fooked drive after 8 weeks.....
I'd be happy to show you it if you wanted :)
The machine is nice and smooth and I think it gives a lovely cut. One machine is about 5 weeks old, the other a few days.
We haven't had any maintenance issues yet.....although 8 week repair time for your Viking is less than good!
wheeled.
the drive seems to bang when up into gear, got one on demo, i feel the direct drive will not last long plus it seems to go a few feet then pause then takes up the slak then drives again. the demo machine is brand new.
Wheeled is completely different, so I don't know about them. Sorry!
Nick, mine's in for repair after 8 weeks, not for 8 weeks! Hoping three days, anything else is unacceptable. 1 day to diagnose and repair is ideal, courier parts and repair the next day is the bare minimum I need!
