    Hi Tom,

Have you considered Quickbooks? i wasn't sure at first, signed up lat year but couldn't easily get the hang off it and gave up. After spending too much time sending word document invoices i gave it another crack. After sitting it down and working everything out, it was saved me too much time its unreal! all the features on it are very good. Think its well worth the £9 a month.

    Just a thought :)

Hi Daniel, Is Quickbooks cloud-based? I'm trying to avoid cloud software if possible because of huge problems with my current software when I can't get an internet connection.

I use it and yes you need to be connected or you can't log in on your phone etc

    Hi Tom,

I use jobber for scheduling, time sheets, invoicing, quoting and expense tracking. It suits my business perfectly and their customer service is fantastic. With regards to offline you can still see your schedule for the day and mark jobs as complete. I then invoice when I get home to the wifi if I've been in a black spot. They are making constant updates to the software so I can only see it improving more in the future. I have a recommendation code I can give you that means we both get abit on initial discount it you would like it.

Thanks Simon. Am currently running a trial of Quickbooks to see how that goes. If I remember, Jobber was somewhat more complex to set up than this has been, so will see how it goes.

        Hi Tom,

With quickbooks, if you get stuck or do not no how to do something, you can free phone them and will talk you through everything
