9.30am Acoustic barriers to environment noise pollution
With the growing impact of environmental noise affecting people, planning and architecture we discuss the choice and specification of acoustic barriers. We also cover what influences the propagation of noise and how current noise legislation may be relevant to any projects you are currently working on.

10.45am How to specify the correct class of treated timber for buildings and outdoor applications
A detailed insight into the usage of timber for external works, the benefits of timber as a building material, the complex timber treatment process, factors influencing a successful preservation system and the range of methodologies currently on offer to deliver an enhanced service lift for various different classes of timber. The presentation also covers the importance of selecting the appropriate class of timber for specific applications.

12.00 - 1.00pm Site tour and lunch break

1.15pm Gate Automation legislation and safety, why take the risk?
Guidance on how to correctly specify automated gates and barriers to ensure the appropriate performance, durability and compliance with all the relevant standards and legislation. The CPD discusses the best use of various styles and configurations of gates to suit different customer applications, as well as highlighting the risks associated with each gate system.

2.30pm Perimeter security and protection systems, securing the future
With an expansive array of different applications and reasons to install security protection, the CPD explains the benefits of the varying systems and discuss the full range of products and services that are available to ensure the best long term solution.

4.00pm Close

Each session is approximately 1 hour and you can book as many seminars as you wish throughout the day. A site tour of our manufacturing facility will be available, you will be able to see British manufacturing at its best! Tea, coffee and light refreshments will be provided throughout the day and a buffet lunch will be available between 12.30pm and 1pm.
