I had this happen last year on a pallet of fertilizer - though only a day late, it was unclear as to whom was to blame and the pallet arrived at 8am the next morning so delay was not too disruptive - I did not persue at the time.
My 2 most recent orders have all come in on time, perhaps staffing issues? Do they have someone on here to disucss about?
Not getting back to you is the more serious point - customer service failure is worse than the delay in the first place.
I ordered 20kg of grass seed from ProGreen for a new lawn to be sent to the customer as they would be there to sign for it. Ordered on the 10th, turn up at mine 22nd. By then I'd already brought some at double the cost from local supplier as the job was running on too long. So it's not just pitchcare
Dan, have you tried posting this question on their forum?
ive replied on twitter to this . its just as slow at pitchcare if you go and collect yourself !
Hi Matthew,
We're happy to face up to our failures as well as our successes. Unfortunately in this instance we were let down by third party couriers & our seed supplier (all in one order) - Not great and we've taken measures to make sure it doesn't happen again. We had hoped the part refund that we've already given went some way to make up for the inconvenience - if not call me. Louise
