Is this the most expensive ''pesticide'' available ?

Nearly fell off my seat when I received an offer in email to buy the following at £885 inc VAT for 3L...yes nearly £900 for just 3L ...reduced down from £952......liquid gold or what !?!

    At that price it would need to stop the weeds growing back for at least 10 years!

    I guess one has to view the price of the product as a protection against the potential loss should a fungal disease wipe out a crop?

    Quite an upfront investment though!

    I would imagine, from the spec, it is aimed as a turf treatment so probably the domain of top golf courses, cricket pitches & tennis courts at that price....?

    As you say....quite an investment and hard on the cashflow ;-)

    Medallion TL is indeed a new fungicide for several turf diseases, mainly sold to Golf Courses.

    You'll find most all turf fungicides are £600-£800 per hectare. Spare a thought for the distributors/stockists of these products who have to buy (to get the best terms) usually £9 - 14,000 at a time then muliply this by at least 6-8 different brands!!!!
