Invasive plant in garden

Hope someone can help with first identifying, and then possibly how to deal with, the invasive plant pictured.

Had a look over the Defra pages on invasive weeds but could not find anythng to match.

Might be able to get a better photo soon, many thanks in advance for any tips or pointers.

I am beginning to suspect I am looking at marijuana, aren't I?

  • Could it be rose bay willowherb?

Euphorbia has given us a pointer:

Euphorbia mellifera, Honey Spurge, as it also oozes a white sap that is an irritant.

    Thanks very much.

  • I was about to say Euphorbia, but see you already have the answer.

  • do not think its Euphorbia as Andrew says bird seed or it could be willowherb you can let some of it grow to see what flower appears
