Intuit 'sunsets' Quickbooks 2011 (desktop versions) wef 31.05.2014

A reminder out from Intuit that wef May 31st 2014, support for Quickbooks 2011 (desktop versions) will be stopped.  

I believe their policy is to not support versions "Current minus 3 years".

Generally only a problem if you use 'Add-On' services such as Payroll, Online Bank Recs' etc as product continues to be useable after this date.

In fact we used QB2005 for 7 years with no problems before upgrading and have upgraded again recently for FY14 to gain a couple of features and keep us in step with QXpress. Have to say the ROI on QB 2005 was fantastic with a purchase price of £119 :-)
