injuries from work

I have recently had an ultra sound scan after physio, acupuncture and a steroid? injection (in 2 parts together in one jab) in my shoulder , well it started about 10-12 months ago after chainsawing some huge conifers in a hedge reductio.

some of you may have seen the pictures.

Basically its still hurting at times and could have been a lot worse.
Its (only)?! muscle/ligaments or trapped nerve or something.

Not a cut from a saw just from doing very awkward, multiple cutting to lower the stumps down an extra 6 inches to level and keep customer happy.

Just a reminder not to jump into quoting to quick, think about the jobs detail, the time involved, machinary and labour needed to help get the job done.

OK its great to get work and good so early on in the season,
but just take a step back , ask a few people (on here) for advice and work out the time, fuel, trailers and waste costs and labour...

sometimes it may just not be worth it as i can speak knowing it has made this last year more difficult and cost as much or more than i made on that 3/4 day job.

best season to you all and Safe Working Practises....
