I'm up and running (ish)

My second post here. Been thinking about what to call my company and i have come up with Grass Lines, so i've just registered grasslines.net.  after all i like grass lines, its the reason im here! plus i could potentially be global?!

Cannot believe no one bought grasslines as a domain name?! should have some fun with that. im thinking of a picture... of grass lines. (truly original i know)

  • good name .... not to be confused with Grassline who make pitch marking paint, of course

    • i think i could reverse engineer that eventually and say....

not to be confused with Grassline who make perfect lawns with sexy straight lines?

      just a thought ;-)

      • Not entirely sure how it works David, but there is a risk they may send some kind of cease and desist legal letter for using a similar name to their established brand, in a related industry. It might never be a problem but something to bear in mind, I certainly won't be "grassing" you up don't worry. They should have called themselves White Lines really as most pitch markings tend to be of that shade

        • not if i trademark mine first. plus as you say they do painted lines not grass lines.

ive trademarked previous companies. i would be trademarking grass - with lines. thats pretty easy.

They could always dispute it i guess but that would be rather funny

          • I think they are a well established company, been around for many years. They might be very relaxed about the similarity in brand name, or they might go the full Walt Disney on you. Better to be aware of an almost identical company name in the grass care industry now, than a few years down the line if things do take off and you do end up going global

            • Havent even started and im in trouble already haha! pretty typical for me tbh

              • ha ha you're in no trouble what so ever David, I wish you all the best whatever you end up calling yourself

        • Thanks though Charles :-)

        • White lines? Sounds like a rather more dodgy industry! 😀

          • keep it local and call it County Lines maybe lol
