the oil is sucked out using an oil vacume pump and then refill with HV46
you MUST ensure the area around the filler plug (highes hex head on the unit) is compleatly clear of any dust or dirt mecause this is an extreamly sensitive unit and the small amounts of contamination will kill the pump.

Many thanks for your reply. As I don't have a vacuum pump, it looks like a visit to the dealership where it was bought. I thought that it would be more complicated than my Iseki SG and SXG to change the transmission oil.
I see now why it says to only allow the dealer to service the hydro box. As lots are sold in France with problems with the hydro box.

PS the machine that I have is a Wolf model Red in colour not white, but it's an Etesia.
You don't need anything fancy or expensive for a vacuum pump............. I've one of these which I bought off Ebay for less than a tenner. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/500CC-Oil-Suction-gun-vacuum-oil-pump-fo...; It makes it a lot easier if the oil is hot when you suck it out........ if the pipe is too wide to fit in the plug..... as with some Briggs and Stratton engines..... just push a smaller diameter pipe inside the one they supply.
