Roybi have same sort of thing. took it back after cutting down a tree. will never buy anything with such a mechanism again
on the stihl ive had for 4 years now , you have to have it very tight... im used to it now but it did take 1 or 2 goes of removing. cleaning to see how it works, with cogs , slightly eleptical shape to tighten the mechanism -therefore the chain to the bar,, or by moving / pulling the bar out to make effect.
no idea if these are the same , but stihl do it on a wider range now.
had it on my stihl; one that got nicked. never had a problem, but this one is ridiculous
if all else fails : u could buy this ;)
