  • I bought the 545RXT last year to replace the 525.

Cant fault the performance. I use 3.3mm cable for most work with it. It sliced straight through a hose pipe one morning with no effort. Only down side is its weight.

    • Haven't looked at weights yet.  I will compare it with mine.

  • Moving from Stihl to Husky because...?

    • Dealer is very close, like 1 mile away. That said I've never had a problem with my Stihl one so make just stick to what I know.

  • Everything apart from mowers I have is stihl I won't be changing anytime soon. I've always stuck to if it ain't broke don't fix it. If your happy with your stihl I'd keep with Stihl. I've tried various others over the years and I'm yet to find anything that can match performance and longevity.

    • Sounds good advice.  Thanks.
