With your work, go for 70cc, IMO this is the best power bracket saw and will cope with almost anything.

If it were me I would get a MS441, its an absolutely beautiful saw, great power low vibes and low fuel consumption. Considering your cutting oak on a 20"

If you like Husqy then I would get a 372.

I have both a Husqy 575 and a MS441 and its the 441 I reach for as my general saw, the stock husqy has more tourq and a fraction more power but not as quick cutting although it will pull a longer bar better. TBH i dislike the 576/ 575 model husqy despite owning one..... IMO 372 is a better saw with hindsight although less tourq.

Both of my saws have been woods ported and tuned up but I ran them both stock for 12 months and this is what my comments are based on.
  • is the 441 best ?

ive been looking at one for BIG logs ........?

    cheers - rob

I've just bought an Sthil MS341 purely for all my sleeper works, rated or not?
  • Excuse me Paul but I'm not mechanically minded, fill up with mixed juice, sort the choke, pull the cord, rev and cut.

wont and never will use dirty sleepers, just not crisp or clean enough.
  • Agree I am very lucky indeed.
