    When doing some of the bigger estates I can do upto 18 miles a day, and on the odd day 20 plus. Not so often this year tho.

  • a few years back i wonderd about it and worked out roughley it was about 10 miles per day that i was doing 

    today i think you can get a devise that tells you how far you have traveled

      most phones have apps for tracking walking paces or steps - the better ones or fit bit type watches will give you endless info on distant covered , heart rate, energy used etc etc 

  • Every second Friday, I do a garden with approx 5 acres, then onto another large site. When I’ve measured that in the past it works out at approx 10 miles

    According to my watch about 12000 steps a day.

    According to my Fitbit, I average about 22,000 steps but my "record" is 36,000.  No idea how far that is though?

    Typically 13000 steps.... I've no idea how many miles that is

  • i think if you are following a mower you will be doing about 2 steps to the yard

  • Did this at various times over the years three of us doing different grass cutting runs in the town all came out with avarages of 10-12 miles a day which seems to match some of the comments here as well. 

  • i seem to do about 38000 on an average day, couldnt believe it when i found out!
