Horticultural Method Statements

Hi - we have been awarded a large horticultural contract and the main contractor is looking for Method Statements and Risk assessments for all activities which include , Tractor Rotovating and seeding, manual tree and shrub planting and maintenance of these activities. The Risk Assessment I have done but I am struggling with the method statements.

Can anyone help me with these please in the form of generic Method Statement that  I can modify to suite our site.

    A bit bemused by your post John, you call your company 'The Landscape Consultants', but you cant write a method statement for tractor mounted rotovation, land raking and MANUEL tree and shrub planting. Should you really be getting involved with a project this size. ??

     

    Not being cheeky or disrespectful, but if you cant write up a method statement, you will face some real conformance issues on this work.

    I have had to complete H&S Risk Assessments and Method Statements for RHS shows for the past three years, and they are rigorous believe me.

     

    Obviously, what I've done won't cover your particular type of work but the way I set it out may help you. I'll send you a friend request and pm you.
