Hoggin problems ?

Hello m'y client has just had us construct some brick paver edge paths in one part of her garden .... she wants them filled with hoggin 

can anyone share experenced as to problems associated with it i heard it can be messy and puddly .... Thanks

  • it wants some hard core underneath to assist with drainage  to start and then use propper hoggin rather inch to dust hardcore that some builders merchants sell as hoggin

      I heard that it can be rather messy and puddly ? Have you experenced that at all ? Thanks 

      • It should be laid with a camber, the same as a tarmac road. If it's laid dead-flat then you may experience puddling. Proper hoggin shouldn't go muddy when wet.
