HMRC free online "tax return" webinars for Sole Traders

HM Revenue & Customs is offering free online webinars to sole traders who are filing a tax return online for the first time.

The webinars will run throughout December and January. They are led by HMRC staff and include time for participants to ask questions online. Attendees can participate from the comfort of their own home, or even on the move using a smartphone or tablet. The deadline for submitting online tax returns is midnight on Thursday 31 January 2013.
 
First-time online filers need to sign up in advance to use the online services. Late returns will lead to a penalty.The webinars are predominantly for self-employed sole traders doing their Tax Return for the first time online, but all are welcome.
