November is the last time you should use a winter feed.i would hold back till spring thanks ken
THANKS SO MUCH KEN HAD A FEELING IT WAS IT ACUALLY SAYS WINTER FEEED ON BAG TOO BUT WILL KEEP THIS FEED FOR LATE NEXT YEAR , AND WILL APPLY A FEED OF SPRING FOOD THEN THANKS VERY MUCH HAPPY CHRISTMAS REAGRDS IAN
Usable during Winter depending on your location / weather.
It's more a case of assessing what the lawn needs, rather than rigid applicaion dates as seasons etc are changing.
To add, so much is about reading the ‘conditions’ and I see no reasons why that product could not be applied. Watching and monitoring sports turf guys ( pitches & courses ) confirms their routine continues with the above caveats (admittedly their cost base is different ). We are likely to do similar after the new year at some sites. Last week saw 11-14c with no frosts , with ground temps around 7-10c. Also, see application chart below ;
Important to get some iron down as well over winter, will strengthen the grass and keep moss at bay. Can be spray or granuales.
Supposed to wait a year for autumn feed i think although if i lay lawns in spring i autumn feed and never had a problem
