    Hi Benji

Not sure this is a good idea, sorry.

We should only endorse each other when we are confident of the capabilities of the person or firm we are effectively recommending.

  • Don't think liking a page is endorsing them is it ? By liking a page you simply get their status updates on your home page
  • Hi Phil. Well ironically enough it's easy enough to be endorsed by LSJN even if you are totally crap by getting on their members map or on a big banner at the side if we pay you enough money.

Benji, buying advertising space and being personally endorsed by other members are completely different.

    Hi Benji

I didn't mean to cause offence with my initial reply.

LJN doesn't endorse its members. The map is there merely to show where a member is located. The map is just a part of LJN's transparent process.

LJN's philosophy has always to be a connection broker between contractor and client. The only recommendation I'd make is to members to be open and honest about their capabilities and achievements and to potential clients to research a potential contractor thoroughly before engaging.

    LJN's aims and objectives

  • In all fairness to Benji i posted a similar thread late last year and got a great response from members, including a few who have commented on this post.
I have made some great friends via lj and fb and would never really view theses as recommendations.

Martin- I think I remember that thread. We really enjoy seeing LJN member's posts and commenting on their photos on facebook :)
