Henchman..I'd just like to say...

Thanks....my fortnightly customer loves the fact I can get my Henchman Hightstep Major out to do stuff + extension if needed, I carry a pole saw, long reach hedge cutters/tree pruning gear and long reach loppers so it all comes together to make quite a versatile bit of kit....until

You saw a log off and drop it straight onto the Henchman..:-(

I've had a few bounce off in the past but this one, the last cut of the day ! smacked straight into the lower hedge side strut..& did bend it somewhat !

Anyway what I'm waffling on about is that Henchman have sorted me out with replacement parts at a fraction of the cost of a new Ally Highstep Major (well I hope they have I've paid and looking forward to their arrival ;-)

Now I know they aren't the cheapest but knowing our trade, to be able to deal with the retailer that manufactures has turned out to be a godsend, bear this in mind when searching for the cheapest platform you can get because it might just turn out to be an expensive thing to do should you have a little slip up.

I've also had good experience with Henchman. The brace bars that lock open between the legs were bowed so I called up and sent pictures and they sent me new ones in the post. Got them in a couple of days. Free of charge and quick service.

Would recommend this company highly.

John you have sussed it, ie it only becomes a problem when it's not tall enough! Ally is best easier to wrestle about in the borders/on and of the van etc

Bits arrived today..all looks fine will fit it all together tomorrow and I should be back in business..woooh hooo ;-)
