How can we ensure that garden visitors, whoever they may be, are not exhausted?
With a detailed report from UK conservation groups saying the country's wildlife is facing a real threat, surely garden designers and landscapers are at the forefront of being able to change attitudes.
With people asking advice of practitioners day in, day out what measures and steps can be put forward to help improve the number of insects, mammals and birds in the UK?
What techniques have you used in recent garden projects to help boost wildlife? Where have you installed ponds? How popular are so-called insect hotels? And what plants as pollinators have you recently planted?
But I also wonder if there is a demand or awareness amongst the general public about how they can make a difference.
And if the desire for a low maintenance garden is all encompassing, what ideas do you have that can help the home owner but also the wildlife in the garden as well?
Feel free to leave a comment below and I'll look to gather together some of the best and most interesting ideas in the next couple of days.
