    Strip it down and make sure all water is removed before you atempt to start it or you risk F* it up big time

    Was the strimmer going when it was dropped into the canal.
  • It works, took out plug used a spray(similar to WD40), new filters and it is alive again!!!

    different matter if it was running when it went in the water!! carb will probably need stripping and a good spray of wd40, along with removing the plug and giving a it a load of wd aswell. wd is a water repellent aswell as lubricant
