HELP , Stihl KM 56 fuel pouring from air filter?

Hi everyone, I'm on site atm and really don't have time to pop home and get my spare, my KM 56 Kombi unit keeps pouring loads of fuel into the air filter, making it so I can't start it again, any quick fix advice to get through this job would be really helpful,Many thanks Harry

    Seems like the seal may have come apart. You need to basically get the carb off and have a look around something hopefully has just come loose rather than a failure of some sort.

    I does not help you but this is why I won't buy a combi! The engine stops and your in trouble for more than one tool.

      Haha, cheers mate...;-) well I had to go home in the end a swap machine out for my Husqvarna, not amused with my Stihl equipment atm.....

        To try and be helpful;)
        Check the fuel filter in the tank is not blocked or tangled up . And also check the fuel and breather lines from the tank to the carb.
        It could well be that the breather is blocked or air locked not allowing excess fuel back to tank.

    it could be dirt has got into the needle jet in the carb to clear it you have to strip the carb
