    A good starting point for any topic related to H&S, Staff welfare and suitable policies is either the HSE website or the Acas Website

    They have information leaflets, guides and framework policies that satisfy the basics. Any policy you create in respect of your business, operations and staff must be relevant to your individual needs, otherwise if an issue comes up in the future and the "policy" is found wanting, or not suitable you may leave yourself open...

    Basically, I am saying;  make sure it is modified to your exact needs.
