Health and Safety... unexpected surprise

 Does this come under Health and Safety???

Today at the top of a 4M Hedging ladder fully extended, wielding the hedge clippers - and suddenly I discovered I had disturbed a swarm of wild bees.... wow I was down that ladder quickly.... I escaped with 4 stings, arm, face neck and leg.

What does come under that heading is check your first aid kit for stuff that deals with the stings, mine did not.

    I always check the hedge prior to cutting or when strimming an area to see if there are any wasps or bees around. Usually you can see some activity and you can make a judgement call on whether you want to risk it or not.
